Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung cut the ribbon to open a photo exhibition to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties in Hanoi on January 14. The week-long exhibition was jointly held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and China’s Xinhua News Agency. VNA General Director Tran Mai Huong said he believes that the exhibition will contribute to increasing the mutual trust and understanding between the two people. The traditional friendship between Vietnam and China is a valuable property that needs to be preserved and developed for the prosperous development of both countries. Xinhua’s Permanent Deputy General Director Zhang Xiaohua said more than 200 photos taken by reporters of both news agencies highlight the development of bilateral relationship over the past 60 years. A similar exhibition opened in Beijing on January 11.
