Uyen Vien The painting was completed in five days with its measurements of 12m x 5m, made from 6,488 drill bits on a cement wall. The event was held at the International Exhibition of Construction, Building Materials, Housing and Interior Décor 2013 (Vietbuild 2013) at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7. Six teams had 20 minutes to conduct part of the artwork which featured a map of Vietnam, Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes, One-Pillar Pagoda, Truong Tien Bridge and Ben Thanh Market, among others. On this occasion Vo Quang Hue, managing director of Bosch in Vietnam granted 20 scholarships worth VND60 million to students at places such as HCMC University of Technology and HCMC Technical Education University. Since 2010, Bosch Vietnam has pledged to donate VND460 million to the Saigon Times Foundation (STF) under the Saigon Times Group to carry out a long-term scholarship program for outstanding students at technical and construction schools. Additionally, the company has also provided professional tools and machines to equip new technology to students.
