Jet firm bringing operations to historic Braniff buildings at Dallas’ Love Field

Dallas businessman and car dealer Randall Reed, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ Blue Star Land and developer Lincoln Property Co. are in the midst of a $134 million redevelopment of the old airline offices and hangers.”At our core, we are an aviation company, and the ability to tie a portion of our future to somewhere that has such historical significance in aviation is a perfect fit for us,” Flexjet CEO Michael Silvestro said in a prepared statement. “It not only gives us a significant presence at a key airport, it also brings our entire Dallas team together in what will become one of our flagship regional facilities.”Flexjet plans to move workers in Richardson to the Braniff building late this year.Renovations at the landmark facility are expected to be completed by summer 2019.
