TIS cooperates with Tinhvan in finance and business, aiming to boost information-technology-based sectors, the core offering of both companies, through financial banking, payment, education, software exports and development studies. To date, TIS is the first overseas corporation to inject capital into Tinhvan Group. Earlier, the group was funded by its domestic stakeholders. TIS Inc. General Director Toru Kuwano noted that TIS had found resonance in Tinhvan in terms of development strategies, qualifications for researching and developing technologies and business philosophy. As a result, he is confident that this will be a promising partnership. Hoang To, Tinhvan’s chairman of the board of directors, said the partnership will allow Tinhvan to reach new stages of development for local products and services and will create more opportunities to ship its services overseas. TIS mainly operates in the fields of system integration and data centers and has established a presence in countries such as the United States, mainland China, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. In Vietnam, apart from a representative office in HCMC, TIS has two subsidiaries, Agrex Vietnam in Hanoi and INTEC Vietnam in HCMC, both offering IT services to clients in Japan.
