Phan Thị Mơ won the Best Designer Bikini in the Preliminary Bikini Competition at World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2018. – Photo Facebook Mơ Phan Viet Nam News HÀ NỘI – Việt Nam’s representative at the World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2018, Phan Thị Mơ, has triumphed over 50 other contestants from around the world to win the Best Designer Bikini in the Preliminary Bikini Competition at the beauty pageant. The competition was celebrated on Sunday in Hội An Town, the central province of Quảng Nam. The contestants had to compete on a Victoria’s secret-inspired runway that was set above a swimming pool. They paraded their bikini bodies in two segments – creative designer swimsuits and in their bikini of choice. Miss Haiti, Cassandre Joseph, placed first runner-up while Miss Kiev Ukraine, Havrylenko Olena, took the second-runner-up honours. Before that, Miss Philippines Jyssy Jyn Almario won first place in the áo dài (Việt Nam’s traditional long dress) competition while Miss Việt Nam was in the top five. On Monday, the contestants continued to participate in sideline activities such as talent competitions, charity work and exploring Quảng Nam Province and Đà Nẵng City before moving to Thailand today. The next activities at the pageant, including traditional costumes, ball gowns and the crowning ceremony, will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from July 31 to August 8.
