A performance at the program |
Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Le Van Han, President of the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association said that the art program was as a token of gratitude to those who had rendered good service to the nation and those who had sacrificed themselves for national independence and freedom during the war to protect Northern and Southwestern borders. It was also to honor present troops who are firmly safeguarding the national border, airspace and sacred national seas and islands.
The performances by artists from the Art Troupe of Military Region 1 and documentaries about the sacrifices of troops to protect national independence made the audience moved.
