He was accompanied by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) and state tourism and environment minister Aaditya Thackeray. As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) maintained an edge over the Rashtriya Janata Dal-led Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) in the Bihar election results, Pawar accepted that they had given a free rein to their chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav to infuse young blood in the electoral fight, adding that it was a clash between experienced and young leaderships.
