The International Hot Air Balloon Association and the Department of Culture and Information of Tuyen Quang province, held a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, on March 15, to announce the first Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival, in 2022. At the press conference. This is an activity in the series of events “Tourism Year of Tuyen Quang 2022”, with the companionship of Vietjet. According to the organising board, the festival will take place from March 30 to April 3, bringing together 20 hot air balloons from countries around the world, such as the UK, the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Spain and the Netherlands. Vietjet’s hot air balloon will represent the Vietnamese host at this festival. During the festival, visitors will experience free flying hot air balloons, at Nguyen Tat Thanh square in Tuyen Quang city, when presenting their boarding pass or Vietjet air ticket.
