Kim, director of process plant of HEC. At the working session, on behalf of HEC, Kim expressed interest in enhancing and expanding Dung Quat Refinery which is managed by Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (BSR). Vietravel follows Bamboo Airways to establish its own airline
After the official launch of Bamboo Airways, the local aviation market will see yet another new entrant with tourism company Vietravel Group, which made the first moves to establish its own airline. Vietravel Airline would be headquartered in Thua Thien-Hue province According to baogiaothong.vn, Vietravel Group sent the documents on establishing Viettravel Airline to the central province of Thua Thien-Hue’s Department of Transport. The headquarters of Viettravel’s airline is forecast to be in the province. Similar to Bamboo Airways, Vietravel has to receive the government’s approval for its investment plan, after which it can carry out the following procedures in accordance with Decree No.92/2016/ND-CP stipulating investment conditions in aviation. After 10 years of persistent negotiations, Vietnam has conquered one of the most fastidious markets to export mango, the US. Vietnam can now export mango to the US From February 18 Vietnam is allowed to export Vietnamese mango to the US. Mango is the sixth fruit to gain export clearance to the US after lychee, longan, rambutan, star apple, and dragon fruit, and at the same time, the US became the 40th export market of Vietnamese mango. The US has many strict requirements for mango exports, including garden conditions, packaging, irradiation treatment, and staying in plant quarantine at import border gates. Vietnam officially receives Category 1 from US aviation authority
Vietnam has been officially granted Category 1 status by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), setting the stage for Vietnamese airlines to conquer US destinations. Foreign capital flows into southern provinces as Lunar New Year starts
Fresh foreign capital has been flowing into the southern provinces of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Binh Duong at the beginning of the Lunar New Year. Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Binh Duong remain ideal destinations for foreign capital Ba Ria-Vung Tau on February 14 granted nine investment certificates worth nearly VND10 trillion ($430 million) and nearly $163 million to investors. The newly-licensed projects include the instant coffee production plant of Japan’s Marubeni Group; the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant of PVGAZPROM Natural Gas for Vehicles, a joint Russian-Vietnamese company; and the cement additive production plant by CHC Vietnam.
