Earlier this week, Game of Thrones latest episode The Long Night became the most tweeted about television episode in Twitter history. It received more than 52 million tweets in just a single day, an impressive feat for any film or show. While most fans were in awe of the episode, its blurry and dark cinematography and the unbelievable twist at the end left some dissatisfied.According to a new report on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, critics were not all love for the episode. The episode received a fresh but disappointing rating of 75% after registering 93 reviews, making it the second worst rated episode in the entire series. First Direct becomes latest bank to enforce 40% interest overdraft rate in ‘loan shark’ move
Thousands of First Direct customers are to see their interest payments on overdrafts rise dramatically next year as part of the lender's plans to streamline charges in line with new guidelines. Customers have been told their arranged overdraft interest rates will jump to 39.9% next March, following in the footsteps of HSBC and Nationwide . At the moment, First Direct current account customers pay 15.9% EAR on arranged overdrafts of over £250, or a £5 daily charge if they slip into their unarranged overdraft. However, from March 14, First Direct 1st Account customers will be charged a blanket rate of 39.9% EAR variable on both arranged and unarranged overdrafts. The change won't apply to those with a £250 interest-free arranged overdraft. First Direct is also scrapping its £5 daily usage fee for unarranged overdrafts and reducing its maximum monthly cap to £20.
