Bosch has launched the eCall solution in India, an emergency call system for cars, which enables a faster emergency response in case of accidents and other mishaps, informs the auto component manufacturer in a release.The Indian eCall service will be available 24/7 and 365 days per year, further informs the company. For this, Bosch has built up an extensive partner network along with two data and operations centres in the country.Currently, Bosch delivers this service for car manufacturer like Daimler in more than 50 countries and in 18 languages. Now it is expanding its services to the rest of the world. Two Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel were killed and two men, including a jawan, sustained injuries after their SUV collided with a truck coming from the opposite side on Sunam-Patiala road on Tuesday night.The incident took place at around 12:30am near Sanjuma village at the foundation point of a toll plaza.The deceased have been identified as Kalamdeep Singh, 30, of Mard Khera village, and Chirag Nain, 22, of Narwana in Haryana. The injured, Lovepreet Singh and Pardeep Singh, were rushed to Government Rajindra Hospital in Patiala.Pardeep has been referred to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
