Queen ‘unable to visit Prince Philip’ in new hospital due to Covid restrictions

The Queen is reportedly unable to visit Prince Philip in hospital despite the Duke entering his 17th night in hospital. The Duke of Edinburgh was transferred from King Edward VII's Hospital in Marylebone to St Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London on Monday, where he is receiving ongoing treatment for a pre-existing heart condition. Philip, 99, was said to be "comfortable" after his arrival - but coronavirus restrictions have prevented him and the Queen from seeing one another in over two weeks. Although son and heir Prince Charles visited Philip at the King Edward VII Hospital, visitors are only allowed into clinical areas of St Bartholomew's for very limited reasons, such as seeing a patient who is at the end of their life. Three-year-old who survived fall from 12th floor discharged from Hanoi hospital

The little girl who was saved in a hair-raising fall from a building in Hanoi last month was discharged from the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital on Friday after five days of treatment. Doctor Hoang Hai Duc, head of pediatric orthopedics at the hospital, said the pelvis joint of H., the child patient in question, was fixed and is responding well to treatment, as suggested by X-ray images. A re-examination for the three-year-old toddler is slated for two or three weeks later. On Thursday, Duong Thi Minh Thu, head of the hospital's social work Ddepartment, visited and gave presents to the girl and checked on her family. The management board of the hospital also directed the department to provide support for the family during the girl’s next check-ups. Prince Philip: Duke of Edinburgh moved back to private hospital following procedure for heart condition

Prince Philip has been moved back to King Edward VII's Hospital following a "successful procedure" for a pre-existing heart condition. In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "Following The Duke of Edinburgh's successful procedure at St Bartholomew's Hospital on Wednesday, His Royal Highness has been transferred to King Edward VII's Hospital this morning. The Duke is expected to remain in hospital for continuing treatment for a number of days." The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to King Edward VII's hospital 18 days ago for an infection. He was later transferred to St Bartholomew's, which has a specialist cardiac centre, for treatment for a pre-existing heart problem. Take a look at the top news highlights for March 5, 2021 The Health Department on Friday stated that Maharashtra reported 10,216 fresh cases. the highest number of single-day cases nearly after five months. The total tally now stands at 21,98,399. With 53 more fatalities, the total death toll rose to 52,393. It can be recalled that this is the first time since October 17, 2020, the state has crossed the 10,000-mark. On October 17, Maharashtra had reported 10,259 cases.
