That’s what movie buffs Amos and Amanda did in their 990 sq ft BTO HDB flat at St George Towers in Bendemeer, where they live with their two children, Don and Dawn. SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is offering voters a “false choice” by asking them to choose between a strong government that can lead Singapore through the COVID-19 crisis and more opposition representation in Parliament, Workers’ Party (WP) chair Sylvia Lim said on Tuesday (Jul 7). Ms Lim was responding to Mr Lee’s lunchtime online Fullerton rally on Monday, where the Prime Minister called on voters to give the People’s Action Party (PAP) their full support to get through the pandemic and the economic challenges facing Singapore. Kindly Share This Story: By Olasunkanmi Akoni Following extensive deliberations, the yearly Executive-Legislative Parley of the Lagos State Government has resolved to engage the Federal Government on the rehabilitation work on Lagos-Badagry Expressway with a view of ensuring early completion of the long-drawn project. The resolution was reached on Saturday, at end of a two-day parley with stakeholders held in Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos. The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA, an agency set up for the monitoring and maintenance of roads recently announced that the ongoing rehabilitation works of a section of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway are currently 88 per cent complete. According to Mr Rufus Onimisi, FERMA South West 2 Zonal Coordinator, the project contractors are fast-tracking the implementation of the project which spans from Igboelerin to Agbara.
