· February 28, 2021 ·

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News at CPAC, Donald Trump, Jr. slammed Hollywood’s ties to China’s Communist Party while also blasting the Biden administration’s coziness with the country’s dictators. “We are bending over for China. The NBA likes the Chinese money. Hollywood really loves that Chinese money,” he said. Donald Trump, Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle spoke with Breitbart News’ Matt Boyle about President Joe Biden’s weak stance on China and how industries like Hollywood as well as academia are allowing Beijing to take advantage of the U.S. “The Biden administration is cozying up to China because that billion dollars to Hunter didn’t come for free,” Trump, Jr. said, referring to reports that China paid $1.5 billion to Hunter Biden’s private equity firm in exchange for favorable treatment from the White House. “I mean, they’re getting an incredible return on investment. We’re just rolling over. We are bending over for China. The NBA likes the Chinese money. … [Read more...] about Watch: Donald Trump Jr. Slams Hollywood’s Ties To Chinese Communist Party

CPAC: Trump to ‘REJECT starting own party & will demand Republicans unite behind him’ in 1st speech since leaving office

· February 28, 2021 ·

DONALD Trump is expected to reject starting his own party and urge Republicans to unite behind him in his first speech since leaving office. Trump will speak today at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where he is expected to slam his successor Joe Biden . The former president is also expected to walk right up to the line of declaring himself a candidate in the 2024 election, without actually committing. He is, however, expected to commit to staying in the Republican party, which has been divided partially due to some prominent members refusing to stay loyal to Trump, especially after January's Capitol riots . "We are not starting new parties, and we will not be dividing our power and our strength," Trump will say, according to an excerpt of the speech obtained by Fox News . "Instead, we will be united and strong like never before." The speech is expected to last at least 90 minutes, and the former president is also expected to take shots … [Read more...] about CPAC: Trump to ‘REJECT starting own party & will demand Republicans unite behind him’ in 1st speech since leaving office

Trump says he played down COVID-19 crisis, didn’t want to create panic: Woodward book

· September 10, 2020 ·

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump acknowledged to a journalist early in the coronavirus pandemic that he played down the danger of the health crisis despite having evidence to the contrary, according to a new book. "I wanted to always play it down," Trump told author Bob Woodward on Mar 19, days after he declared a national emergency. "I still like playing it down, because I don't want to create a panic." CNN on Wednesday broadcast interviews Woodward did with Trump for his new book Rage. The book, to go on sale next Tuesday, just weeks before the Nov 3 presidential election, comes amid criticism of Trump's efforts to battle COVID-19. The Republican president, assailed by his Democratic rival Joe Biden over the slow US government response to the coronavirus, played down the crisis for months as it took hold and spread across the country. In the Mar 19 conversation, Trump told Woodward that some "startling facts" had emerged showing the extent of those at risk: "It's not … [Read more...] about Trump says he played down COVID-19 crisis, didn’t want to create panic: Woodward book

Trump holds up COVID-19 aid to block funding for mail-in voting

· August 14, 2020 ·

WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said on Thursday (Aug 13) he was blocking Democrats' effort to include funds for the US Postal Service and election infrastructure in a new coronavirus relief bill, in a bid to block more Americans from voting by mail during the pandemic. Congressional Democrats accused Trump of trying to damage the struggling Postal Service to improve his chances of being re-elected in November, as opinion polls show the Republican facing a tough fight from presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Trump has been railing against mail-in ballots for months as a possible source of fraud, although millions of Americans - including much of the military - have cast absentee ballots by mail for years without such problems. Trump said his negotiators have resisted Democrats' calls for additional money to help prepare for presidential, congressional and local voting during a pandemic that has killed more than 165,000 Americans and presented severe logistical … [Read more...] about Trump holds up COVID-19 aid to block funding for mail-in voting
