This unusual problem which the manufacturers are witnessing for the first time has taken place as the companies are pressurising the manufacturers to give them discounts ranging from 10-30% on the already confirmed order, deliveries for which were yet to be made, in some cases even the discounts are being asked on the already delivered consignments. The companies are justifying their demand for hefty discount by citing losses incurred due to the lockdown and decline in demand.
