EXCLUSIVE: Vertical Entertainment said Monday that it has acquired North American rights to Every Breath You Take , a psychological thriller directed by Vaughn Stein that stars Casey Affleck , Sam Claflin , Michelle Monaghan , Veronica Ferres and India Eisley. The pic will now get a U.S. theatrical release and Premium VOD bow on April 2. Every Breath You Take centers on a psychiatrist (Affleck) whose career is thrown into jeopardy when his patient takes her own life. When he invites his patient’s surviving brother (Claflin) into his home to meet his wife (Monaghan) and daughter (Eisley), his family life is suddenly torn apart. The deal marks a reunion of sorts for Vertical, Stein and producer Richard Barton Lewis of Southpaw Entertainment. Vertical last year acquired the Stein-directed and Lewis-produced Inheritance , the thriller that starred Lily Collins and Simon Pegg. Ansel Elgort put the SUV through its paces in one of Jaguar's Smart Cone Challenges. The last time we saw Baby Driver star Ansel Elgort , he was getting to know all about the Porsche 918 . Now, the actor is helping Jaguar promote the all-electric I-Pace crossover as it makes its U.S. debut this week at the 2018 New York Auto Show . The action isn’t what you’d call super-intense, especially compared to the driving sequences filmed with a certain red Subaru in the aforementioned film. Still, Elgort manages to put the I-Pace through its, um, paces. The event was held in Brooklyn on a small closed course filled with Jaguar’s “smart cones.” Basically, these cones illuminate either red or green lights to notify drivers where to go next. In that sense, the course can be different each time, and drivers never know exactly where to go until the last possible moment. In the video, the Halo hitmaker could be seen with her husband Jay-Z posing next to a portrait of Meghan, looking like royalty, as the superstar duo said a few words after taking home the win for Best International Group. LANSING, United States (REUTERS) – As his victims wept in a Michigan courtroom on Wednesday (Jan 24), disgraced long-time USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison for abusing young female gymnasts who were entrusted to his care. “I’ve signed your death warrant,” Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina told Nassar, following days of accounts from about 160 of his victims. Spectators and victims cried, applauded and embraced as Nassar, 54, wearing a dark blue jailhouse jumpsuit, was led out of the courtroom. Rachael Denhollander, the first woman to publicly accuse him in 2016, shared a hug with Angela Povilaitis, the lead prosecutor. After the sentence decision, the president of Michigan State University, where Nassar also worked, said she was resigning after facing a barrage of criticism for not doing enough to halt the abuse.
