Home • 165 John Walker Prisoner 9th February 2011 / 1:21PM While digging into the remarkable story on FoxNews.com, in which it was claimed that games like Bulletstorm cause rape, I got in touch with each of the contributors quoted in the article. Neither of the two doctors have yet got back in touch, but Billy Pidgeon of M2 Research responded with a detailed explanation of what he’d really said to the news outlet. And would you believe it – it has little in common with how their selective quoting made him appear. Quite how little is striking. After quoting two experts, neither of whom appear to have any expertise regarding the effects of videogames, both of whom were apparently very quick to condemn the game, they then announce that the game’s unlikely to sell well anyway, citing Pidgeon from M2 Research. Tellingly they refer to him as a “defender”, before quoting him appearing to do anything but. In the original article it appears … [Read more...] about Churnalism: Fox News’ Selective Quoting
New Delhi: It is the time for weekly eviction of contestants of Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss 11. According to sources, the contestant who will be leaving the house this week is celebrity contestant Benafsha Soonawalla. Benafsha was in the headlines for her closeness with co-contestant Priyank Sharma. Although, Benafsha and Priyank said that they were just friends, other contestants did not think the same. Often the two were seen getting cozy. They created a buzz when Ben slept next to Priyank in one of the episodes. This irked many of the contestants too. Benafsha who is an MTV VJ is in relationship with Varun Sood who is also a VJ. The growing proximity between Ben and Priyank had her boyfriend Varun disturbed for a while but he waited to clarify things with Benafsha directly rather than making his own notions. Indiewire.com, like most entertainment sites, is hopelessly, consistently liberal. That means progressive movies, themes and celebrities get the rock star treatment. And, as a result, Indiewire is part of the Social Justice Warrior Borg. That’s true even when their hard-left positions diametrically oppose their own readers’ views. And Indiewire fans are hardly MAGA hat types. The latest example comes as the site clutched some boulder-sized pearls over the most recent “Saturday Night Live” episode. No, the site’s scribe didn’t fault “SNL” for punching down at President Donald Trump’s base in the cold open. Instead, the focus fell on a single joke told during the show’s “Weekend Update” segment. Here’s the headline: ‘Saturday Night Live’: Michael Che’s Caitlyn Jenner Joke Wasn’t Funny, It Was Hate Speech The “hate speech” canard is a critical part of the modern left, used … [Read more...] about TOTO: ‘Woke’ Entertainment Site Accuses SNL Of ‘Hate Speech,’ Gets Slapped By Its Own Readers
