· April 10, 2021 ·

What is the perfect TV viewing distance? If you're sizing up a new television, it's well worth measuring how far you should be sitting for the optimum viewing experience – especially since you may not realize what TV size is best suited for your current furniture setup. So if you’re planning on squeezing in as many inches as you can afford rather than the number of inches your room can handle, you may want to rethink. And don’t make the mistake of thinking that just because your old screen fitted perfectly in a certain spot, your new one will also blend in the same way. Check out our best TV guide TV placement is about way more than just making sure that you keep your space insta-worthy. Barry Levinson is set to direct the project which hails from Empire co-creator/exec producer Danny Strong , The Handmaid’s Tale executive producer Warren Littlefield and Fox 21 Television Studios. Creative Practice for Creative Professionals

· April 7, 2021 ·

Creativity Coaches on Creativity Source: Eric Maisel Many creatives choose professions that feel “somewhat creative,” thinking that their day job will keep them in touch with their own creativity . But then the graphic artist discovers that she is never doing her own painting and the copy editor discovers that he is never working on his own fiction. To deal with this very common occurrence, creatives who are “professional creatives” in their career or day job likely need to create and maintain a personal creativity practice if they are to get to their own creative work. In today’s post, creativity coach Lucy Nobles explores this theme. Lucy explained: There are many jobs and career options for people who want to make a living being creative. But many of these jobs require that someone else defines the outcome of your creative process. If you are making a living from your creative skills, you may want to develop your own personal art practice and outlet as well—that is, … [Read more...] about Creative Practice for Creative Professionals

Britain’s daily Covid deaths HALVE in a week with 13 more victims – while cases go up by 29% to 3,568

· April 12, 2021 ·

Britain's daily Covid deaths have halved in a week — while infections have risen slightly, official figures revealed today. Department of Health chiefs posted 13 more lab-confirmed victims after recording just seven yesterday — which was the first time the daily fatality count was in single figures since September. The rise may be explained by the fact last week was Easter Sunday. Experts have previously noted testing numbers dip on public holidays due to the way swabs are recorded and because fewer people come forward for them. There is also a chance the uptick has been caused by No10's easing of restrictions on March 29. Academics have warned cases will inevitably rise when restrictions are eased but because millions of people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, the … [Read more...] about Britain’s daily Covid deaths HALVE in a week with 13 more victims – while cases go up by 29% to 3,568
