Hong Kong socialite Jocelyn Choi’s family background became the focus of media attention during a recent promotional activity for the 2020 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. He will provide his voice to an animated character of a dog in the upcoming movie Hong Kong Phooey , which is an adaptation of the Hanna-Barbera animated TV series with the same name. Hong Kong Phooey revolves around a dog named Penry, who is granted mystic powers, including the ability to walk, talk and do kung fu. Donning a costume to become Hong Kong Phooey, he sets out to combat criminals. David A Goodman has been hired to write the screenplay for the animation movie. However, Scatman Crothers had provided voice for the dog's role in the TV series Hong Kong Phooey . Another court has denied bail to Hong Kong media tycoon and democracy campaigner Jimmy Lai ahead of his April trial. He is accused of colluding with foreign elements to endanger national security, apparently for tweets he made and interviews or commentaries he gave to international media. Hong Kong's High Court said it would publish its reasons for rejecting Thursday's application at a later date.
