We kicked around a question in a news meeting last week that we'd like you to help us answer: Should we stop posting national and world news to NOLA.com, and dedicate the site exclusively to news and information about metro New Orleans, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast? Congratulations! You're among the lowly 38 percent of Colorado news consumers who actually read beyond a headline or short article summary. As a reward for you, we're going to include some adorable baby animal photos at the bottom of this post. So, without aligning itself to any particular news outlet, the Colorado Media Project sought to collect insights from audiences and … [Read more...] about Most Coloradans Don’t Read Past News Headlines or Short Summaries
On-loan Henry Onyekuru announced himself at Galatasaray with a stunning finish in the Turkish side's win over Goztepe - and secured himself a place on the country's back pages. The Nigerian, who is yet to play for Everton as he continues his quest for a work permit, notched the only goal of the game when deftly lobbing the bouncing ball over goalkeeper Goktug Bakirbas. Hoş geldin Onyekuru' which translates (according to Google) as 'No dollar exchange rate, no euro exchange rate, welcome to Onyekuru'. The Blues signed Onyekuru for £7million last summer and immediately loaned him to Belgian side Anderlecht, but his promising campaign was cut short due to a knee ligament injury. But the forward served a timely … [Read more...] about On-loan Everton man is national news
